Camp Mondamin

Camp Mondamin is a traditional residential camp for boys, nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina. Founded in 1922, Mondamin focuses on personal growth, outdoor adventure, and community. Campers build confidence and skills through activities like kayaking, sailing, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and backpacking. With an emphasis on multi-day out-of-camp trips, skill development, and respect for nature, Mondamin fosters lifelong friendships and a spirit of exploration. Its experienced and committed staff provide a safe, supportive environment where boys can thrive and discover their potential. Ideal for boys ages 6–17, Mondamin offers a two-, three-, and five-week session as well as father/son weekends and a friends and family weekend for families to get acquainted with camp.
