Activities

The iD Gaming Academy, available at Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Villanova University, offers 3 weeks of intensive study in the dynamic world of video game creation and development. Using powerful, industry-standard applications like Alias Maya® and Adobe Photoshop®, this program is taught by top tier instructors with professional game creation experience. Every student will run Maya on a workstation provided by iD and learn the basics of 3D graphics production, including modeling, texturing and animating. The graphics created in class will then be ported into a gaming engine as students create their own mini game portfolio with levels and interactivity.
