Global Leadership Adventures (GLA) offers life-changing community service learning programs in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Service projects include teaching orphans in a rural school at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, building homes for villagers in the Dominican Republic, & protecting endangered species in the Galapagos Islands, among others. Program themes include working with children, protecting wildlife and the environment, nature & the outdoors, international relations, language learning, healthcare, poverty alleviation, political-economic issues, and leadership development. On the weekends, students engage in exciting excursions to places of cultural or historical significance. |
