ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
For
teens that are eager to learn, prepare for college, or improve in a
particular subject area, Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific offers a
perfect summer experience. Along with a variety of course options, the
Academy relies on small class sizes to promote individualized teacher
attention and increased classroom participation. A mandatory study hall
provides students additional study time in a structured educational
environment proctored by members of the faculty. Students also have
access to our library and computer lab with internet access.

Camp
Pacific and our Surf Camps have been providing campers with
unforgettable memories since 1943. Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific
continues to provide a safe and fun summer experience for youth ages
7-17 from across the United States and around the world. Throughout our
sessions, our goal is to have fun, learn new athletic and recreational
skills, develop strong friendships, and build self-esteem through
positive experiences. Our experienced staff and diverse activities
supply a fun, safe and rewarding summer experience.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Academy
by the Sea/Camp Pacific offers the only summer leadership course west of
the Mississippi where students can earn full credit for the Junior
Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). Designed for high school
students, grades 9-12 (co-ed), our JROTC Camp Challenge course will
reward successful participants with 180 hours of Leadership Education
and Training (LET).
The CIT
program is designed for teenage campers who are interested in becoming
future camp counselors. Participants must be entering their junior or
senior year of high school after camp, and must have previously attended
Camp Pacific to be eligible.
