Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific is located on a sixteen acre private boarding school campus Carlsbad, California. Campus facilities include beach access, a library, swimming pool, gymnasium, weight room, tennis courts, athletic fields, campus store, chapel and an oceanfront recreation center.  The Academy by the Sea offers academic credit, enrichment and ESL programs and Camp Pacific offers surf/body board, recreation and ESL camps. ESL program options include: TOEFL Prep, Everyday English or ESL/Surf. Both camps include thrilling trips to area attractions such as: Sea World, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios and more!  

The Academy’s four-week summer session is a co-educational program that balances academics and recreation for a fulfilling experience. Designed especially for students entering grades 4-12, the academic program helps students prepare for their upcoming school year and for college. This year we have four different programs available that are more detailed on our brochures.  

Camp Pacific offers a variety of camps for ages 8-17. Among these camps are the following:  A three-week camp that helps develop a sense of teamwork & sportsmanship through various recreational activities; Surf camp will teach skills in equipment options, wave selection and basic surfing/body boarding techniques; Leadership camp will develop teambuilding and leadership skills by giving campers the opportunity to volunteer their time and give back to the community. Campers will gain self-confidence and are encouraged to develop strong friendships while working with their peers.
